Take a look and you might see some of the 25 butterfly koi, 3 black goldfish,
thousands of mosquito fish & a few Japanese Trapdoor snails.
Only the 3 goldfish and the 3 largest koi are left from the original inhabitants.
The population of the pond changes as the egrets and herons feast and I replaced
what they ate, usually with a few extra for good measure!
(Note: the distance from the camera to the other side of the pond -
where you see the lily stems - is approximately 10 ft.)
